I've been carrying around a Moleskine notebook lately, which feels strangely luddite for a very technical boy like myself. But despite all of the portable tech in my pockets, I'm finding that I can get an idea out of my head and into the little notebook much more quickly and effectively than anything else, especially if I need to mix notes and drawings.
One such idea struck a few weeks back-- a web toy that I figured I could implement in Flash in a week or so. As the idea took shape and I started development, I realized that I probably had something that would get some serious attention for a week or two-- lots of links from blogs and e-mails. I decided that I needed to do something special while I had everyone's attention.
So I'm working furiously and secretly on this ever-expanding project. I've registered the domain, put up a teaser page, and bought some software to help the project along. I've also set a launch date of April 1, in an attempt to keep the pressure up to do this thing before someone else thinks of it.
Or before I shift my obsessive, manic attention to one of the other ideas in my little black notebook.
