PlusXBit lets you set the execute bit on any file without a trip to Terminal. From Finder, just select one or more files and click the 'PlusXBit' icon in your Finder toolbar.

Installation

To install PlusXBit:

  1. Download the installer:
    PlusXBit Installer disk image (5 MB)
  2. Drag the PlusXBit icon to the Applications folder.
  3. Open your Applications folder and drag the PlusXBit icon to your Finder toolbar.
